Insulation
We offer open cell spray foam as a cavity fill insulation alternative.

Spray foam is extremely effective and provides thermal performance and air sealing in one application step.

Typical Characteristics
  • R-value is 3.8 per inch
  • Semi rigid appearance
  • Commonly referred to as ½ pound foam

Installation Profile
  • Used in walls, attics and floor / ceiling applications
  • Spray foam system is a 2 part application between a resin and a catalyst.
  • During application the spray foam expands to fill the entire space within the cavity, and surrounds any penetrations in the opening for a uniform seal.
  • Application typically expands to the stud facing. Ant material expanding beyond the stud facing is cut away and removed ny the application team.
  • Spray foam can be used to insulate the attic roof desk, bringing the mechanicals (HVAC system) into the conditioned space. Spray foam can also be used for traditional horizontal attic applications.
  • Will not shrink, settle, sag or biodegrade over time.
  • Eliminates air flow within the wall cavity.
  • Reduces sound
  • Reduces cost to heat & cool the home
  • Reduces overall energy demand environmentally friendly.
  • Improves comfort.

Foam is a premium installation choice. We can offer flexibility to our customers by providing a combo system designed to maximize performance and optimize the cost

The combo system involves the use of spray foam in all high risk or problem insulation areas like kneewalls, rim joists, cantilevers, overhangs, etc. Depending on design considerations, it could also include an attic roof deck recommendation.
